second year student of commerce department won gold medal in shot put and

The state level boxing tournament was held at Arakkonam Indoor Stadium. In

Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate Level Boxing Tournament held at
Trichy Bharathidasan University on 04.12.2022. Out of which 1).G.Gomathi
M.Sc first year student of commerce department won gold medal and
2)R.Soundarya second year student of commerce department won bronze
medal. 3). C.Sophia, BSc third year student of chemistry department got silver
medal. They won the title of overall champion at the Bharathidasan University
inter-collegiate level.
Kabaddi
The Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate Kabaddi Tournament was
held on 10.12.2022 to 11.12.2022 at Holy Cross College, Trichy District. Our
college womens participated in it and secured Second Place at the
Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate level. Two students namely P.Swetha
and Manimozhi were selected participated in the University level competition.
Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate Level Kho-Kho Competition was
held on 04.01.2023 and 05.01.2023 at Holy Cross College, Trichy District. Our
college students participated in it and achieved First Place at the Bharathidasan
University inter-collegiate level. Students R.Thamayanthi, S.Kavya, D. Hema
participated in the University Level competition.
National level Langadi competition (Dunapayanii) was held at Shanthi
Vidyalaya School, Tirupur district. Among them, S.Kavya third year
mathematics department, A. Mahalakshmi third year English department,
R. Ranjani second year computer science department, G. Sandhya second year
commerce department participated in Langadi competition and got national gold
medal at Thiruvalluvar ground. Our college student E. Pooja won gold medal in
shot put and discus throw.
The state level athletics competition was held at 18.02.2023to 19.02.2023
Tamilnadu Sports University Chennai district. Our college student E.Pooja
participated in it and won bronze medal in shot put and Hamer Throw.
Sports competition for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Cup was held at
M.Kumaraswamy College of Engineering, Karur District. Our college womens
participated in it and won first place in handball competition and third place in
basketball competition.
Our college students have participated in CM Trophy and won first place in the
district football competition.
. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Cup Beach Handball Tournament was held at
Manora Beach in Thanjavur
District. A. Poovarasi third year history department M.Trisha second year
computer science department student also participated beach volley ball and
won the first place in the regional level competition and qualified for the state
level competition.
44th senior level Throwball tournament was held in Chennai. K. Lavanya, a
second year student of physical education department, was selected at the
district level and participated in the national level Throwball tournament held at
Bihar.
Our college girls have qualified for the state level competition by winning
various group competitions for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Cup in Football
and Cricket. In this, each student received a cheque of Rs.3000 each and a total
of 50 students received a check of Rs.2,55,000 each and became district
champions and brought pride to our college.
The state level volleyball tournament was held in Thoothukudi district.
Physical education department students C.Divya Jothi and K.Lavanya
participated in the state level volleyball tournament.
State level volleyball tournament held in Virudhunagar district. M.Poovarasi,
a third year student of the history department, was selected in the Volleyball
competition at the district level and participated at the state level.
